Our Story

Madeline Ivy began with family, tradition, and a love of art.

Our mother, Charlene McLaughlin, is a New England artist known for her vibrant oil paintings that capture the coastal beauty and charm of Cape Cod, Nantucket, and Palm Beach. For years, her paintings filled our childhood home - treasures tied to summers on the coast and cherished family memories.

We created Madeline Ivy to share her artwork beyond our immediate circle and bring her vision into homes everywhere.

The name is a deeply personal tribute to family and legacy. It pairs her daughter's name, Madeline, with a nod to her son, George IV - where the Roman numeral "IV" inspired the name Ivy.

Charlene has spent a lifetime not only creating art but giving back to her community. Her generosity and commitment to others are values woven into everything she does - and into every painting she creates.
